FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental oncology, and can be used for transplantation of scaffold of titanium alloy with populated culture of tumor cells in lower jaw of immunodeficient mice for obtaining orthotopic model of tumor process in bones and soft tissues of mandibular and cervical region. Method involves anesthesia of immunodeficient mice, a skin and mandibular muscle dissection, a layer-by-layer repair of a postoperative wound. Skin incision is made parallel to the mandible body for 15 mm. Beginning of incision is located on middle line of body at distance of 5 mm from lower lip. Anatomical tweezers of the subcutaneous muscle of the neck is moved aside, a blunt excretion of the mastication muscle is performed, which is dissected parallel to the lower jaw body. Periosteum and an upper layer of bone tissue of the mandibular body with diameter of 2 mm and depth of 1 mm within the chewing crest are damaged by a surgical bore. Scaffold of titanium alloy with a populated culture of tumor cells is ligated with a ligature of the lower jaw. Knot is fastened, the cut down chewing muscle is sutured one interrupted suture, the postoperative wound is closed with a continuous suture.
EFFECT: method provides creating an adequate clinical picture of tumorigenesis, enables to create an orthotopic model of malignant growth in bones and soft tissues of the mandibular and cervical region, transplanting tumor cells into bone tissue, and eliminates tumor tissue elimination, creating optimal conditions for growth of implanted cells due to use of scaffold of titanium alloy with populated culture of tumor cells.
