SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of biotechnology. A method and device for obtaining a composition or isolate of exosomes or microvesicles are proposed. The method includes providing a liquid that includes exosomes or microvesicles, providing a substrate surface with an array of exosome-binding ligands, interacting the liquid with the substrate in conditions that bind exosomes or microvesicles to exosome-binding ligands, and separating the substrate from the liquid to obtain a composition or isolate of exosomes or microvesicles. At the same time, each ligand is in the form of an electron-rich group at pH 4-8, and an array of exosome-binding ligands allows exosomes or microvesicles to bind to the substrate. The device includes a substrate with the above array of exosome-binding ligands.
EFFECT: inventions provide improved exosome yield, scalability for manufacturing, or obtaining pharmaceutical grade exosomes.
