SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for inhibiting the expression of atherogenic microRNA-24, microRNA-125 and inducing the expression of antiatherogenic microRNA-126, microRNA-222, microRNA-let7b in human blood plasma. A method for inhibiting the expression of atherogenic microRNA-24, microRNA-125 and inducing the expression of antiatherogenic microRNA-126, microRNA-222, microRNA-let7b in human blood plasma, whereby a preparation is produced by drying the roots of the angelica plant for a week at a certain temperature, then the dried roots are ground to a powdery state, then distilled water is added to the crushed angelica, mixed, then the resulting mixture is boiled in a water bath until the volume of liquid reduces, centrifuged under certain conditions, then the resulting supernatant is filtered, concentrated using a rotary evaporator under certain conditions, then a certain amount of the produced water extract is dissolved in a 0.9% water solution of sodium chloride at a ratio of 1:5, followed by administering the resulting preparation to the patient per os in a volume of 5 drops per every 10 kg of the weight of the patient once a day for 4 weeks.
EFFECT: proposed method affects the expression profile of certain microRNAs (microRNA-24, -125, -126, -222, -let7b) in blood plasma by inhibiting the expression of atherogenic microRNAs (microRNA-24, -125) and inducing the expression of antiatherogenic microRNAs (microRNA-126, -222, -let7b) by administering an angelica extract-based preparation.
