SUBSTANCE: method for continuous workpiece casting includes the supply of metal into a non-detachable crystallizer, closely docked with a detachable one, the formation of a workpiece with a liquid core in the non-detachable crystallizer, the formation of several workpieces with jumpers by separating protrusions of the detachable crystallizer, and the separation of these workpieces after the detachable crystallizer. In the non-detachable crystallizer, sidewalls of which are made in the form of a semicircle with a radius equal to half the thickness of a crystallizer cavity, a workpiece with round side surfaces containing a shell and a liquid phase, the thickness of which is 10-15% of the thickness of the workpiece, is formed. The formation of workpieces in the detachable crystallizer is carried out in two stages: by separating protrusions of pin walls in the direction perpendicular to the axis of movement of the workpiece, walls of the shell are closed, and the liquid phase is excluded with the formation of jumpers, and then each workpiece is simultaneously compressed in two mutually perpendicular directions with the exclusion of the liquid phase from them.

EFFECT: increase in the stability of casting of several workpieces is provided, which leads to the improvement in their quality.
