FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for correcting the behavioral status in traumatic brain injury, including modeling traumatic brain injury in rats by free fall of a load weighing 155 g from a height of 0.6 m, characterized in that for the correction of pathology, it is administered intragastrically through probe 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiodiazolium-N-acetyl-aminoethanoate at a dose of 50 mg/kg, once, 30 minutes before modeling the pathology.
EFFECT: invention provides correction of the behavioral status with new ethylthiadiazole derivatives 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiodiazolium-N-acetyl-aminoethanoate in traumatic brain injury - TBI, which has antioxidant and antihypoxic activity and blocks the activation of free radical processes, and also lipid peroxidation of cell membranes in acute disorders of regional and general circulation.
