FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to experimental pharmacology. Method for neurological deficit correction in traumatic brain injury involves simulating a craniocerebral injury in rats by free fall of load of 155 g from height of 0.6 m. For pathology correction, 2-amino-5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiodiazolium-N-acetyl-aminoethanoate is administered intragastrically through 3-day course, in dose of 50 mg/kg, once, for first time 30 minutes beforehand the simulation of pathology, followed by introduction within 2 days.
EFFECT: method leads to pronounced correction of the consequences of the traumatic brain injury.
