FIELD: ceramic products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for molding large-sized ceramic products from water slips into plaster molds. The method includes installing a core in a plaster mold, feeding a slip into the casting hole of the mold, holding until a complete set of the product, removing the core, and extracting the product. After removing the core, the product is kept in the mold for at least 30 minutes. Then, a bushing made of a material with a low friction coefficient is installed into the casting hole of the mold, and air is supplied under a pressure of 0.1-0.6 MPa to the nose of the product. In this case, the air supply time is from 2 to 20 s.

EFFECT: shortening the time for manufacturing large-sized ceramic products, reducing the number of defective products.
