SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining a target molecule by converting a carbon source during an enzymatic process. The proposed method includes the cultivation of a microorganism genetically modified for the production of the target molecule in a suitable culture medium containing carbohydrate as a carbon source, and the isolation of the target molecule from the culture medium. The specified genetically modified microorganism includes functional genes encoding a phosphotransferase system (hereinafter – PTS) for carbohydrate utilization, where the specified carbohydrate is transported by PTS system for carbohydrate utilization. At the same time, ppsR gene encoding a protein of bifunctional ADP-dependent kinase-phosphate-dependent pyrophosphorylase DUF299 is deleted in the specified genetically modified microorganism.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the production of the target molecule obtained during fermentation in a microorganism.
