SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating device and to an aerosol generating system. The aerosol generating device contains one or more DC power sources, a load circuit containing an inductor and a capacitor connected in series, the first control circuit connected to one or more DC power sources and connected to the load circuit, as well as made with the possibility of providing the first voltage drop in the load circuit, the second control circuit connected to one or more DC power sources and connected to the load circuit, as well as made with the possibility of providing the second voltage drop in the load circuit. The second voltage drop occurs in the opposite direction relatively to the first voltage drop. The aerosol generating device additionally contains a controller connected to the first and the second control circuits and made with the possibility of controlling the first and the second control circuits so that to periodically provide both of the first and the second voltage drops in the load circuit, and so that not to provide the second voltage drop in the load circuit simultaneously with the first voltage drop.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of power transmission to the inductor and increase in power transmitted to the inductor.
