CONSEQUENCES OF LUNG DAMAGE INDUCED BY ARTIFICIAL BLOOD CIRCULATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61K31/195 A61K31/198 A61P11/00 A61P41/00

Abstract RU 2762593 C2

FIELD: medicine; pulmonology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to pulmonology; it is intended for reducing the frequency or severity of lung damage induced by artificial blood circulation. A method for maintaining the connection of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (hereinafter – eNOS) to reduce the frequency or severity of lung damage induced by artificial blood circulation due to the formation of free radicals in a patient during artificial blood circulation includes injecting the patient with the effective amount of citrulline before, during and after surgery. Citrulline injected at the beginning of surgery is about 100-500 mg/kg of citrulline. Citrulline injected during surgery is added to substitution fluid for hemoconcentration during surgery. The effective amount of citrulline is the amount sufficient for reducing the separation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS).

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to prevent consequences of lung damage induced by artificial blood circulation by reducing the separation of eNOS.
