SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. What is presented is a method for molecular genetic prediction of the risk of chronic dust bronchitis in coal mining workers. Genotyping of polymorphic loci of genes of enzymes of antioxidant system rs4880 MnSOD and rs1050450 GPX1 by polymerase chain reaction. When detecting a combination of AA MnSOD and GG GPX1 genotypes, genetic predisposition to risk of chronic dust bronchitis is predicted. When detecting one of three combinations of GG/AA, AA/AA and AG/AA MnSOD/GPX1 genotypes, resistance to development of chronic dust bronchitis in coal mining workers is predicted.

EFFECT: invention enables to establish a genetic predisposition and resistance to the development of chronic dust bronchitis in coal industry workers, enables its wide application during preliminary and periodic medical examinations of coal industry workers, helps to determine the tactics of managing the patients and to individualize the complex of preventive and therapeutic measures.
