FIELD: medicine; cardiology; biotechnology and medical genetics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of developing hypertension in men based on the results of genetic testing. DNA from the peripheral venous blood is isolated. The polymorphic loci BAG6, AC026703.1 and OBFC1 are analyzed. When identifying a combination of genotypes rs805303 GG BAG6 × rs1173771 AA AC026703.1 × rs4387287 AA OBFC1 a high risk of developing hypertension in men is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides new criteria for assessing the risk of developing ×hypertension in men of Russian nationality who are natives of the Central Black Earth Region of the Russian Federation and are not relatives to each other, based on data on the combination of genotypes of the BAG6, AC026703, OBFC1 and RGL3 genes.
