FIELD: animal breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to animal breeding, in particular to horse breeding. Fibrinogen concentration in blood serum is determined in stallions, samples of which are carried out before feeding animals. If the fibrinogen concentration in the blood serum is below 3.90 g/l, the stallion should be referred to the group with high cryo-resistance, if the fibrinogen concentration in the blood serum is more than 3.90 g/l, respectively, to the low group.
EFFECT: method enables to determine cryo-resistance of sperm without determining sperm cell survival at T 2–4 °C after thawing of cryopreserved sperm.
