FIELD: controlling.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for driving assistance. The apparatus for driving assistance comprises a sensor and a controller. The sensor is configured to detect multiple hazards present, accordingly, on one side from the left side and the right side of the road of the vehicle in question, in different front and back positions ahead in the course of the vehicle in question. The controller is configured to determine, in accordance with the types of the multiple hazards, each of the values of lateral movement of the vehicle in question to avoid and pass by the multiple hazards with gaps from the multiple hazards, to form a trajectory of movement passing by the multiple hazards in a lateral position moved by a value equal to or greater than the maximum value of lateral movement among said determined values of lateral movement, and steering automatically so that the vehicle in question moves along the trajectory of movement.
EFFECT: possibility of smooth passage of the vehicle by multiple hazards with gaps from the hazards.
