SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oncology, human genetics, and can be used to predict the risk of development of squamous cell lung cancer in men. A genetic study of sputum is conducted and the predisposing and protective markers are determined: the content of g.Streptococcus of 25% or more is a predisposing marker, the content of g.Streptococcus of less than 25% is a protective marker; the content of g.Bacillus of 2% or more is a predisposing marker, the content of g.Bacillus of less than 2% is a protective marker; the content of g.Haemophilus of 0.5% or more is a predisposing marker, and the content of g.Haemophilus of less than 0.5% is a protective marker; the content of Streptococcus agalactiae of 20% or more is a predisposing marker, the content of Streptococcus agalactiae below 20% is a protective marker. A conclusion is made about a high individual risk of squamous cell lung cancer if predisposing markers are quantitatively predominant or if predisposing and protective markers are present in an equal amount, and if protective markers are quantitatively predominant, resistance to development of cancer is predicted.
EFFECT: method ensures more effective determination of the individual risk of forming squamous cell lung cancer in men.
