FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to determine blood pressure (BP) in people with arrhythmias. The proposed method for inflating a cuff for measuring blood pressure in case of heart rhythm disturbances provides for the exclusion from the measurement result of signal sections recorded during the period of uneven pulsations of the artery, which is achieved by stopping the bleeding and starting to pressurize when unevenness is detected due to the operation of the compressor so that the frequency of the resulting noise lies outside the spectrum useful signal and these noises could be filtered out. On the arterial pulsation graph, the first matching point is found, which is defined as the maximum of the last pulsation before the onset of unevenness, and the time point corresponding to it. The pressure in the cuff is pumped up to the level fixed at this point in time, and maintained as such until the restoration of the uniformity of the pulsations of the artery. The second alignment point is found, defined as the maximum pulsation of the artery at maintained pressure. Sections of signals with uneven ripples between the found two points are excluded, and the recorded signals before and after the excluded period are combined.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to automatically measure blood pressure in people with arrhythmias while simplifying its implementation, and also increases the accuracy of blood pressure measurement and reduces noise.
