FIELD: medical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical instruments, in particular to a handle assembly and a circular surgical stapler. A threaded rod is installed in the handle assembly for the circular surgical stapler, and the handle assembly comprises a handle drive, a handle, a first cooperating component, a second cooperating component. The handle is closed outside the threaded rod. When the handle is rotated, the threaded rod is driven to move in the axial direction of the stapler. The first interacting component has a blocking state and a non-blocking state. The first interacting component is an elastic plate having two ends and a protruding part between the ends. When the first cooperating component is in the blocking state, the first cooperating component and the second cooperating component are rigidly connected to each other, and when the rotational resistance of the handle is greater than a predetermined value, the first cooperating component is deformed by the force of the second cooperating component and enters a non-blocking state in which the first the cooperating component and the second cooperating component are not rigidly connected to each other. The first interacting component is located in the handle drive, and the second interacting component is located in the handle, or the first interacting component is located in the handle, and the second interacting component is located in the handle drive. The handle drive or handle has mounting grooves for the two ends of the elastic plate. The circular surgical stapler comprises the above handle assembly.
EFFECT: use of the inventions makes it possible to provide adjustment, control and stability of the clamping force acting on the tissue.
