FIELD: molecular biology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecular biology, microbiology and medicine. In the present invention, a method based on multiplex PCR has been developed for the specific determination of the six main pathogens of human bacterial pneumonia. The claimed invention is characterized by the fact that it does not use 16s ribosomal RNA analysis, but only species-specific genes are affected, which dramatically increases the specificity of the analysis. Unlike analogues, the claimed invention uses the multiplex PCR method, which makes it possible to identify in one DNA analysis six of the most significant pathogens of bacterial pneumonia. Domestic and foreign analogues are not described. The invention can be used in clinical laboratories specializing in routine analysis of samples of patients with a preliminary diagnosis of pneumonia. The developed method requires a standard qualification of a laboratory assistant working with PCR.

EFFECT: system is focused on application in clinical diagnostics to determine the etiology of the disease due to the ability to differentiate bacterial from viral and fungal pneumonia and provides species-specific identification of the six main pathogens of human bacterial pneumonia.
