FIELD: organic chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, and in particular to a method for producing 4-aryl-1-morpholino-3-(2-oxo-2H-benzo[b][1,4]thiazine-3(4H)-ylidene)-butan- 1,2,4-triones of the general formula IIIa-w. The method consists in the interaction of 3-aroylpyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzothiazine-1,2,4-triones of the formula Ia-w with morpholine in an aprotic solvent when heated according to the scheme below. In formulas Ia-w and IIIa-c, Ar = C6H5 (a), C6H4Me-4 (b), C6H4Cl-4 (c).

EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain compounds of formula IIIa-w, which exhibit fluorescence and can be used to construct new heterocyclic systems.
