FIELD: fuels.
SUBSTANCE: solid fuel of biomass is proposed, having a low capability of self-heating. The present invention relates to solid fuel of biomass, in which mutual binding or adhesion between biomass particles ground to powder is preserved, and which has the maximum achieved temperature of less than 200°C, when testing a self-heating characteristic, wherein initial material of biomass ground to powder contains Dipterocarpaceae tree varieties, and solid fuel of biomass has a volatile substance content of 77.2 wt.% or more per a dry ashless base; or initial material of biomass ground to powder contains Pinus radiata, and solid fuel of biomass has a volatile substance content of 77.5 wt.% or more per the dry ashless base; or initial material of biomass ground to powder contains a mixture of larch, fir, and birch, and solid fuel of biomass has a volatile substance content of 71.0 wt.% or more per the dry ashless base.
EFFECT: solid fuel of the specified types of biomass has a low capability of self-heating, is easily transported and stored.
