FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for producing two-dimensional (2D) materials; in particular, to production of two-dimensional metal-organic frameworks (MOF) based on a metal and 2-methylimidazole under conditions of UHF activation; namely, to production of two-dimensional metal-organic frameworks by the general formula ZIF-L(X), wherein X=Zn and/or Co, potentially applicable as carriers for producing various catalysts in various chemical processes, as adsorbents for gas separation, collection of carbon dioxide and toxic gases from the atmosphere, and adsorption of various substances and particles from the liquid phase. Presented is a method for producing two-dimensional metal-organic frameworks by the general formula ZIF-L(X), wherein X=Zn and/or Co, consisting in the salt constituting a metal acetate by the general formula X(Ac)2×2H2 O, wherein X=Zn or Co, or a mixture of two salts taken in a molar ratio of 1:1, being treated with 2-methylimidazole in a medium of a solvent - water, followed by heating the resulting reaction mixture under the effect of UHF radiation with a power up to 200 W and a frequency of 2,465 MHz under atmospheric pressure, a temperature of 100 °C, and a 1:7.5 molar salt to 2-methylimidazole ratio.
EFFECT: simplified method for producing a two-dimensional framework material by the formula ZIF-L(X), higher yield of the target product and safety of the process, and expanded range of end products.
