FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to plastic surgery, aesthetic gynaecology. In a patient with hypertrophy of the clitoral hood with vertical ptosis, first, the borders of a U-shaped flap are marked on the skin, wherein the apex of the flap is located on the vertical line passing through mons pubis. An incision is made along the borders of the flap in the form of a polyline with 120 to 130° angles between the vertices, so that the vertices of the angles of the upper and lower borders of the incision are located opposite each other capable of locking together. The flap is excised, the edges of the incisions are sutured using a buried suture starting from the central vertices of the upper and lower borders of the incision. Additional external interrupted sutures are applied.
EFFECT: preservation of clitoral sensitivity and associated prevention of cicatricial deformation with simultaneous reliable fixation of the edges of the incision.
