SUBSTANCE: measuring equipment for high-precision determination of the position of the interface between two dielectric media located in a container one above the other and forming a flat interface. A device is proposed for measuring the position of the interface between two dielectric media in a container, comprising three segments of a coaxial long line located vertically in a container with controlled media, the lower ends of which are aligned with the bottom of the container, and filled with media in accordance with their location in the container, the segments of the long line are made having terminal horizontal sections of fixed different lengths and the same load reactances at the ends of these horizontal sections, which are intermittently filled with media and emptied when media enter the container and are removed from it, respectively, each segment of the long line is connected to the input of the corresponding electronic unit, the outputs of the electronic units are connected to the corresponding inputs of the functional converter, the output of which is connected to the recorder.
EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy.
