FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for high-precision determination of the level of a dielectric liquid in a container. In the device for measuring the level of a dielectric liquid in a container containing two segments of a coaxial long line located vertically in a container with a controlled liquid, the lower ends of which are aligned with the bottom of the container, connected to the input of the corresponding electronic unit, the outputs of the electronic units are connected to the corresponding inputs of the functional converter, the output of which is connected to the registrar, the segments of the long coaxial line are made in form of coaxially located inner and two hollow cylindrical conductors, while one segment of the long coaxial line is formed by the inner conductor and the inner surface of the middle cylindrical conductor, and the other by the outer surface of the middle cylindrical conductor and the external cylindrical conductor, one of the segments of the long coaxial line contains at its lower end a terminal horizontal section, which is abruptly filled with liquid and emptied upon the flow of liquid into the container and its removal from the container, respectively.
EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy.
