FIELD: medical rehabilitation medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a rectangular chair with beveled corners and with dimensions of 80 cm wide, 170 cm long and 104.5±10 cm high, lined with artificial leather with soft padding to accommodate the patient. The seat of the chair is rigidly attached from below to a metal rod-rod, which is part of a mechanical drive, including a flywheel with an eccentric axis and a gear motor, coupled to each other by means of a key connection and enclosed in a cubic metal frame with metal guide rails fixed inside it to ensure movement of the chair in the form of vertical oscillations. The seat is additionally equipped with a security system represented by semi-rigid fixators in the form of 2 adjustable straps attached to the patient's hips. Holes are made in the flywheel of the drive mechanism for reinstalling the connecting rod axis when adjusting the oscillation amplitude. This design has a rear mount with a counterweight, which has an adjustable graduation from 40 to 140 kg due to a manually rotated wheel. The device contains a control panel mounted on a metal frame, placed on a rack containing a power cabinet, a stand with a rubberized surface for the patient's legs is installed in front of the chair.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of restoring balance and walking functions and reduced risk of falls in neurological patients with mild, moderate or severe atactic syndrome.
