FIELD: organic and pharmaceutical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing fused heterocycles (hydropyridine and γ-lactam), namely the method of obtaining 3-amino-5-(dimethylamino)-1-oxo-4,5,6,7,8,9-hexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-c]quinoline-3a, 9b-dicarbonitriles of general formula (I), where R is H, C3H7. The method is as follows: reaction of N,N-dimethyl-2-methylenehydrazone with 1-(2-oxocyclohexyl)ethane-1,1,2,2-tetracarbonitrile or 1-(2-oxo-5-propylcyclohexyl)ethane-1,1,2,2-tetracarbonitrile in ethyl acetate at room temperature for 30–45 minutes. Spent rocket fuel based on unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine is used to obtain N,N-dimethyl-2-methylenehydrazone.

EFFECT: use of extremely affordable raw materials with a negative cost, ease of synthesis, possibility to carry out the reaction under standard conditions (at room temperature 20°C and a pressure of 1 atm), obtaining target products being valuable and unattainable using the classical synthesis with good yields.
