FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for purifying follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is described. The method includes the step of performing immunoaffinity chromatography (IAC), wherein the immunoaffinity chromatography (IAC) includes a washing step, in which washing is carried out at least 3 times, whereas the washing solution in the second washing step is a sodium chloride solution with a salt concentration of 1 M or more to 3 M or less, and wherein the washing solution in the third washing step is a magnesium chloride solution with a salt concentration of 0.01 M or more to 0.3 M or less.
EFFECT: invention allows to purify FSH with high yield and high purity.
