FIELD: medicine; X-ray research methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for differential diagnosis of physiological reactive changes in the lungs in patients with suspected tuberculosis. In case of visualization during the first x-ray examination of an increase in the pulmonary pattern — the interstitial component, single foci and infiltration of the lung tissue, before prescribing a course of chemotherapy, a second x-ray examination is performed with an interval of at least four weeks from the first x-ray examination. If changes in the lungs remain the same or increase in combination with a positive immunoassay for tuberculosis during a repeated x-ray examination, tuberculosis is diagnosed and chemotherapy is prescribed.
EFFECT: method ensures efficiency of pulmonary tuberculosis diagnostics, prevents complications due to anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy drugs and determines further patient management tactics, as it allows to exclude physiological reactive changes in the lungs in case of atypical (asymptomatic) course of ARVI.
