FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to determine the degree of cervical dysplasia according to the CIN classification system. In patients with papillomavirus infection of the cervix, during a clinical examination using a video colposcope, a video examination of the vagina and cervix is recorded in Full HD resolution. An image is obtained that displays the affected areas of the surface of the cervix and the outer portion of the cervical canal. The image is processed using ImageJ software and the amount of affected tissue per unit area of the entire surface of the cervix is calculated with the introduction of indices of the intensity of the spread of human papillomavirus infection in the affected area according to the proposed formula. The index D is calculated, depending on which the degree of cervical dysplasia is determined.
EFFECT: method enables determination of the degree of cervical dysplasia due to indicators of the intensity of the spread of human papillomavirus infection in the affected area.
