FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining a population of cells and an isolated crude population of cells for obtaining pancreatic endocrine cells expressing markers characteristic of the pancreatic endoderm lineage are presented. Moreover, more than 70% of cells in the population simultaneously express PDX1 and NKX6.1.
EFFECT: invention allows it to be used to stimulate the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into insulin-producing cells.
