FIELD: structural; electrical and heat-shielding materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for manufacturing of a material based on an aluminium-chromium-phosphate binder and quartz fabric for use in heat-loaded, heat-insulating products and structures for radio engineering purposes, operating at temperatures from minus 60 to plus 800°C in aviation, space and other industries. The method involves mixing an aluminium-chromium-phosphate binder of the Foskon-351 brand with white electro-corundum powder, applying the resulting composition to quartz glass fabric, finished with an alcohol-acetone solution of KM-9K organosilicon resin, curing it under vacuum, and performing heat treatment at a temperature of 300°C for 3-4 hours and cooling to room temperature, impregnating with organosilicon resin of grade MFSS-8 for 1-2 hours, air drying, polymerization at a temperature of 320°C and exposing at this temperature for 2-3 hours. To implement the necessary thermal transformations of the binder material and silicone resin, additional heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 400-500°C for 0.5-1 hour.
EFFECT: increase of strength characteristics of the material at elevated temperatures.
