FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for attracting a protein to the site of a DNA break when editing the genome of a mammal by homologous repair using the CRISPR system, including the protein of interest cross-linked with a protein with the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or with a protein with an amino acid sequence that differs from the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 in amino acid residues not located at positions 3, 5, 6, 7, 9–11 of the sequence, and guide RNA.
EFFECT: proposed system expands the capabilities of existing editing systems and facilitates their use in fundamental research in cell biology, as well as in the therapy of genetic diseases.
