FIELD: clinical diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: following is disclosed: a method of detecting an analyte in a sample including at least the following stages: i) immobilization on the surface of a solid phase of a receptor against the said analyte or a molecular complex including an analogue of the said analyte, ii) incubation with the said solid phase of the said sample, iii) incubation with the said solid phase of a suspension of silver nanowires conjugated with an antibody against the said analyte, iv) removing unbound silver nanowires from the sample, v) incubating with the said solid phase a solution of hydrogen peroxide and a chromogenic substrate selected from the group: tetramethylbenzidine, o-phenylenediamine, diaminobenzidine; vi) measuring absorbance to determine the content of said analyte in the said sample from a calibration curve.

EFFECT: invention provides a simpler and more accessible measurement of the analyte content in a sample without the use of expensive equipment with the possibility of signal amplification due to the catalytic activity of nanoparticles, as well as the use of nanomaterials as registered labels, allowing them to be synthesized on a large scale and characterized by stability during storage.
