FIELD: nanomedicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dosage forms in the form of nanoparticles, a method for synthesis of such nanoparticles and use thereof in the field of therapy of malignant growths, specifically targeted delivery of therapeutic agents relevant for chemotherapy and photodynamic therapy in mammals using said nanoparticles. Present invention extends the range of existing approaches to creating stable non-toxic and effective dosage forms, with spherical morphology, high adsorption properties, retention capacity, as well as possibility of safe exit from the body, specifically solves the problem of creating nanosized carriers consisting of compounds of alkali-earth metals, suitable for delivery to the focus of interest (tumor tissue) for combined PDT and chemotherapy of malignant neoplasms.
EFFECT: obtaining a dosage form consisting of nanoparticles with a size in range from 20 to 500 nm for the implementation of combined PDT of the malignant neoplasms, with the possibility of obtaining a suspension of nanoparticles, with high concentration and use of low-cost technology, single-step procedure for synthesis of nanosized carriers, which takes a small amount of time (about 2 hours), with the possibility of including a wide range of chemotherapeutic agents and photosensitizers, higher than the closest analogue of the therapeutic compound adsorption capacity, high aggregative stability in biological media, optimal pharmacokinetic parameters and physicochemical characteristics, which enables to provide a local effect on tumor tissue.
