FIELD: medicine; cardiology; biotechnology medical genetics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of developing arterial hypertension in women. DNA from the peripheral venous blood is isolated. The polymorphic loci CERS5, HFE, TBX2 and RGL3 are analyzed. When identifying a combination of genotypes rs7302981 AA CERS5 × rs1799945 CC HFE × rs8068318 CC TBX2 × rs167479 TG RGL3 a high risk of developing arterial hypertension in women is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides new criteria for assessing the risk of developing arterial hypertension in women of Russian nationality who are natives of the Central Black Earth region of the Russian Federation and are not relatives to each other, based on data on the polymorphic loci CERS5, HFE, TBX2 and RGL3.
