FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: subperichondrial and subperiosteal detachment of soft tissues is performed from the lower and the upper lateral cartilages to the root of the nose. Next, two cartilage transplants 1.5 cm high, 5 mm wide, 2 mm thick at one end and uniformly tapering towards the other end are formed from the septal cartilage graft. Then the transplants are compared to each other from the narrow part to the wide one and stitched with a non-resorbable thread with a continuous mattress suture. The transplants are then placed in a pre-formed pocket between the medial crura of the alar cartilages. Next, the alar cartilages with the domes of the tip of the nose are tightened and sutured to the transplant with a non-absorbable monofilament synthetic thread. The flap is placed in place and sutured. Air-conducting intranasal splints are installed and fixed into the nasal cavity with one interrupted suture. A bandage made of narrow and wide strips is applied to the nose. The external thermoplastic nasal splint is fixed.

EFFECT: ability to create a stable support for the tip of the nose in patients with deformities of the osteochondral part of the nose.
