FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of engineering structures in permafrost zone, namely to soil cooling system. Slope part of earthen structure on permafrost contains soil mass with slope surface inclined to horizontal line, on which there is heat-insulating coating, which completely covers slope surface. Heat-insulating coating contains two layers, the lower one of which is a heat-insulating layer, the upper layer contains vegetation cover and is made of soil favourable for vegetation cover. Heat-insulating layer is made from mixture of particles of heat-insulating material with soil favourable for vegetation cover. Vegetation cover consists of an above-ground heat-insulating part and a root fastening system, and the depth of the root system exceeds the thickness of both layers of the heat-insulating coating. Particles of heat-insulating material of the heat-insulating layer are made of spherical shape of the same diameter, and mixture of heat-insulating material with soil is laid in forms of rectangular outline in plan, containing only side walls, with height equal to height of heat-insulating layer. Distance between opposite walls corresponds to integer number of balls.
EFFECT: higher reliability of heat-insulating coating.
