FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction on permafrost. Earthen structure on permafrost of non-draining type contains body of structure with height "hC", base and cooling system for stabilization of temperature conditions of soils. Base to the depth "hT" from the natural surface and the body of the structure to the height "hC" at the moment of the end of the warm period of the year are in a thawed state. Underlying soils are frozen. Cooling system is made in the form of seasonally operating vertical tubular cooling units buried into the ground from the upper surface of the earthen structure to the depth "H", where H=hC+hT+h, m, and distance "C" between installations C=k∙2h, m, where 5 m≤h≤10 m,0.75≤k≤1.25, nondimensional value, h is the depth of immersion of the seasonally operating vertical tubular cooling unit into the frozen soil stratum. Seasonally operating vertical tubular cooling plants can be made in the form of thermoelectric supports.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of cooling plants, freeing the surface of the earthen structure from cooling plants.
