SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the risk of thyroid cancer in a patient with thyroid nodules. A molecular genetic study of cytological samples of the thyroid gland is carried out, based on the results of which the expression level of miR145 and miR7 is determined. The probability of having thyroid cancer P1 is calculated. In the case of P1<0.5, it is concluded that there is a low probability of thyroid cancer. At P1≥0.5 it is concluded that there is a high probability of thyroid cancer.

EFFECT: method improves the efficiency of cancer diagnosis in patients with thyroid nodules by determining the expression level of miR145 and miR7 in a thyroid sample.
