FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Device for training absolute accommodation of eyes, comprising a housing containing optical lenses, wherein seven optical lenses have negative optical power in dioptres: (-)1.0; (-)1.5; (-)2.5; (-)4.25; (-)7.0; (-)9.0; (-)12.0. and one optical lens has a positive dioptre power of (+)1.0. Method for training absolute accommodation of eyes, including load on accommodation muscles of eyes, which is carried out monocularly, with optotypes at a distance of not less than 5 m by optical lenses by exponential increasing negative optical power in dioptres: (-)1.0; (-)1.5; (-)2.5; (-)4.25; (-)7.0; (-)9.0; (-)12.0. Each optical lens is held in front of eye for 3–5 s, starting with the optical lens with the weakest negative optical power (-)1.0 dioptre, ending the load with that optical lens through which it is impossible to focus the eye on the optotype, holding it in front of eye for 5–10 s, further relaxation of accommodation muscles with optical lenses, which is carried out by holding each optical lens in front of eye for 1–2 s, starting from the last optical lens through which it is possible to focus the eye on the optotype, going down in reverse order to optical lenses with weaker negative optical power and finishing the training with optical lens with positive optical power (+)1.0 dioptres. At the same time training is carried out for each eye separately for no more than 1 minute once and daily, and when eye focusing on the optotype is achieved through the last optical lens on which the load was interrupted, the optical lens with a higher optical power is switched to the next day.
EFFECT: more effective training of absolute accommodation of eyes due to improved visual acuity of the user, increase in the volume of absolute accommodation, the volume of accommodation reserves, as well as increased convenience of training absolute accommodation of eyes by the disclosed method and the corresponding device due to the simplified design of the device.
