FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device for monosegmental correction of severe form of congenital kyphoscoliosis on background of isolated hemivertebra of thoracic and lumbar localization in children of preschool and primary school age contains two monoaxial transpedicular screws for installation in adjacent vertebrae, two rods with diameter of 4.5 mm for laying on the left and right sides relative to the line of spinous processes. A monoaxial transpedicular screw consists of a threaded part with an external constant diameter of 4.5 mm, a hollow head for placing a horizontal rod with diameter of 4.5 mm and a fixing nut with the possibility of rigid fixation of the rod. Internal diameter of the screw thread part has a variable size of a wavy shape in range of 3.4 to 4.4 mm.

EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability and strength of monosegmental fixation with transpedicular support elements and efficiency of correction and stabilization of severe congenital kyphoscoliotic deformation of spine with isolated hemivertebra of thoracic and lumbar localization in children of preschool and primary school age.
