FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: video pharyngoscopy is performed in white light. That is followed by sequential autofluorescence video pharyngoscopy and endoscopy in the "narrow spectrum" mode. If observing areas of weak lilac luminescence at the stage of autofluorescence video pharyngoscopy and an ordered structural vascular pattern in the form of elongated vessels at the stage of applying the "narrow spectrum" mode chronic inflammatory oropharyngeal disease is diagnosed. If observing areas of moderate lilac luminescence at the stage of autofluorescent video pharyngoscopy and an irregular, deformed vascular pattern in the form of short fragments of vessels at the stage of application of the "narrow spectrum" mode, a precancerous process of the oropharyngeal mucosa is diagnosed. When detecting areas of pronounced lilac luminescence at the stage of autofluorescent video pharyngoscopy and recording a deformed broken vascular pattern in the form of points and commas of different caliber at the stage of application of the "narrow spectrum" mode, primary oropharyngeal cancer is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of combined endoscopic diagnostics of chronic inflammatory and precancerous processes, primary cancers of oropharynx.
