FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical sensors for determining ammonia in a gaseous medium and in an aqueous solution. Electrochemical sensor includes a planar electrode group, the electrodes of which are placed in one plane on a dielectric substrate, a polymer membrane and a porous hydrophilic membrane, planar electrode group contains at least working and auxiliary electrodes, at that, on the working electrode there is a sensitive layer formed using a metal forming complex compounds with ammonia, on the sensitive layer there is a polymer membrane from the LF-4SK polymer, on top of which a porous hydrophilic membrane is fixed on a dielectric substrate.

EFFECT: invention increases sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor, reduces the time for determining ammonia, and enables to determine the presence of ammonia in aqueous media.
