FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Central thickness of the cornea, an anteroposterior axis of the eye, an area of the optic nerve disc, biomechanical parameters of the fibrous membrane of the eye are determined: DA Ratio, Integr. Radius (R), SP-A1, and with a central corneal thickness equal to or less than 530 mcm, an anteroposterior axis of the eye more than 24.0 mm, an optic disc area of more than 1.8 mm, DA Ratio more than 4.0, Integr. Radius (R) more than 7.5 mm, SP-A1 less than 125 mmHg/mm risk of developing low-pressure glaucoma is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables to predict the risk of developing low-pressure glaucoma (LPG) by using a combination of morphometry data, optical coherence tomography, studies of biomechanical parameters of the fibrous membrane of the eye and increases the possibility of verifying LPG at early stages, as well as the risk of its development.
