FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotics and can be used in designs of mobile robots intended for investigation of territories of industrial and municipal structures. Mobile robot comprises a frame equipped with a traction wheel connected to a drive of its rotation, a side wheel and a guide wheel installed on the rotary axis, power supply, control and information support facilities arranged on the frame. At that, the frame is made in the form of channels connected to each other by their sides by ledges formed by the extreme channels extension in different directions relative to the middle channel, wherein one of extreme channels is engaged with said drive axle while another extreme channel accommodates guide wheel rotary axis coupled with its drive.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to significantly simplify the design of the robot and at the same time to expand its technological capabilities.
