SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical analysis methods. Disclosed is a method for determining the antioxidant capacity of substances by the electrochemical parameters of the analysed solution using an electrochemical cell with two spaces communicating through a semipermeable membrane and filled with a reagent solution, wherein electrodes are made from one material, and as an electrochemical parameter for evaluating antioxidant capacity, the steady-state value of electromotive force in the measuring system is used, wherein the reagent solution used is an oxidised form of the reagent, and additives of the analysed solution are introduced into both spaces of the cell in different amounts, wherein an electrochemical cell is used made of photopolymer resin, and the volume of each of its spaces is 50–1,000 mm3.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of analysed objects, reduces the volume of reagents and analyte used, simplifies the analysis procedure and reduces the time required for analysis, possibility of making disposable devices and analysing outside the laboratory.
