SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to analytical chemistry. Disclosed is a fluorescent composition for making test strips for calibration and calibration of fluorescent reader for immunochromatographic diagnosis of diseases using proteomic systems, including fluorophores and solvent, wherein quantum dots in amount of 0.001–20% are used as fluorophores, and the solvent used is glycerine, a solution of saccharose 50%, starch 15% or polyvinyl alcohol 30% in water with the addition of methyl methacrylate monomers, wherein the methyl methacrylate monomer content is 0.5–40%. Also disclosed is a method of applying said fluorescent composition to a test strip and a method of making test strips for checking and calibrating a fluorescent reader.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a simplified method of making test strips, as well as increased storage life of calibration samples.
