SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to chronomedicine, endocrinology, dietology, therapy. Patient undergoes the actigraphy procedure for at least seven days, then the actigraphy readings are used to determine the blue light phase (BLP). Then in morning from 8 to 9 o'clock according to the time of the patient’s permanent residence on an empty stomach, blood is taken to determine the concentration of high-density lipoproteins (HDL). Further, depending on the blue light phase, the true HDL value is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy of diagnosis and correction of metabolic disorders, as well as reduce the drug load on the patient in the integrated treatment of metabolic syndrome and provide the possibility of preventing metabolic disorders by optimizing light hygiene taking into account individual genetic characteristics.
