For an accurate assessment, with a significant change in the intensity of the furnace operation, a step is carried out, at which the change in the physical heat carried away by the gas passing inside the furnace is evaluated, taking into account the amount of heat released to the outside from the blast furnace as a result of leakage of gases, a step at which the change in the physical heat introduced by the raw material heated by the gas passing inside the furnace is evaluated, taking into account the amount of heat released to the outside from the blast furnace as a result of leakage of gases, the stage at which the amount of heat retained in the fixed layer of coke in the blast furnace is evaluated, and a step of estimating the amount of heat supplied to the iron in the blast furnace by a mathematical expression taking into account the amount of heat supplied to the iron in the blast furnace, amount of heat supplied to the blast furnace per ton of molten cast iron in the blast furnace, the estimated change in the carried away physical heat, estimated change of introduced physical heat, estimated amount of heat retained in fixed layer of coke.
