When evaluating the amount of heat supplied to the cast iron in the blast furnace, an evaluation step is carried out, at which the change in the physical heat carried away by the gas passing inside the furnace and the change in the physical heat introduced by the raw material heated by the gas passing inside the furnace is evaluated, and also estimating the amount of heat supplied to the cast iron in the blast furnace taking into account the said estimated changes of the carried away physical heat and the introduced physical heat. At the same time, at the evaluation stage, a stage is performed, at which the amount of heat supplied to the cast iron in the blast furnace is evaluated, taking into account the heat dissipated from the blast furnace during the air blasting interruption, and a step of estimating the amount of heat retained in the fixed layer of coke in the blast furnace, and estimating the amount of heat supplied to the cast iron in the blast furnace, taking into account said estimated amount of heat contained in the fixed layer of coke.

EFFECT: accurate estimation of the amount of heat supplied to cast iron, and accurate adjustment of temperature of molten cast iron within the specified range at considerable change of intensity of blast furnace operation.
